In her address, Ms. Hafsa Ali Warsame, UNASOMALIA's Youth and Student Coordinator, stated, "Today, we do not just honor a politician; we honor a champion for the people. Hon. Abdirahman's work embodies the principles of the United Nations Charter. His lifelong commitment to justice and equality provides a powerful example for the next generation of Somali leaders. He shows us that principled leadership is the cornerstone of a just society."
The award ceremony highlighted Hon. Shiekh's profound and lasting impact on the nation, particularly in advocating for the most vulnerable.
Ms. Salma Abdi Hassan Omar, UNASOMALIA's ISIC Sales and Outreach Officer, added, "This award celebrates a legacy of service that has tangibly improved lives. Hon.
