Security guard saves his colleague's life

This day began like any other morning. But what initially seemed like a normal working day turned into an event that both secura protect security employees will probably remember forever: Thanks to Pero Bilac's attentiveness and decisive action, a life was saved - that of his colleague.

Pero Bilac becomes his colleague's guardian angel

It's a Thursday - the two security guards from secura protect, Pero Bilac and his colleague, are driving to work together as usual, to their job in a shared accommodation facility in Würzburg. They still have no idea what is going to happen that day. As soon as they set off, Mr. Bilac notices that something is wrong with his colleague. Quick-witted, he recognizes signs that could indicate a stroke. Without hesitation and against the wishes of his colleague, who played down his malaise, he took the car keys from him and immediately called for medical help. This quick reaction saved his colleague's life.

When the emergency services arrived a few minutes later, Mr. Bilac's suspicions were confirmed: his colleague had suffered a stroke. Thanks to Bilac's decisive intervention, a second, potentially fatal stroke was prevented. The emergency doctors emphasized how crucial Pero Bilac's actions were for the happy outcome of this situation.

We not only work together, but also for each other

Pero Bilac has impressively demonstrated what it means not only to work together, but also to be there for each other. This story of secura protect's security staff is an example of how important it is to look out for each other and act at the crucial moment.

To honor this outstanding deed, Robin Hunold, Central Division Manager at secura protect, presented Mr. Bilac with a certificate and a small gift as a token of gratitude. Property manager Akin Oguz also expressed his great appreciation and made sure that this extraordinary commitment did not go unnoticed.
