New York - Tanya Paul Lediaev Shubin's life is a reflection of perseverance and faith. Born on December 5, 1942, in Rahmatabad, Persia (now Iran), to Russian parents who escaped persecution during the Russian Revolution, Tanya carries a legacy of courage. Her family migrated to the United States in 1949, where Tanya was raised and became a proud American citizen. A graduate of Garfield High School in Los Angeles, she went on to marry Alex Mike Shubin, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage until his passing in 2020. Together, they raised four children and welcomed ten grandchildren and one great-grandson, Noah.
Her journey to authorship is as remarkable as her life story. Despite early doubts about her potential, Tanya cultivated a love for reading the Bible, which became the foundation of her faith and purpose. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, she collected poetic reflections and sayings over the years.
