Gary R Farmer Takes Home the Gold at This Year's ISSA Awards

The International Singer Songwriter Association (ISSA) has once again held its annual awards show in Atlanta, and a Chattanooga, TN area resident has taken home the gold. Gary R. Farmer, a music producer with 38 years of experience, has been creating music for clients worldwide from his studio in Flintstone, GA, helping many of them achieve number one chart positions. His name is now the subject of daily conversation in countries such as New Zealand and Australia. Farmer has performed across 48 states and four countries, most recently touring New Zealand for 25 days with Joy Adams, a resident of the country.

ISSA, based in Atlanta, plays a significant role in supporting independent singers and songwriters as they navigate the complexities of today's music industry. With a membership exceeding 25,000, the organization holds an annual awards show to honor its members, with the winners determined by past gold award recipients and industry professionals. This year, Gary R. Farmer was awarded the Sound Engineer of the Year award in recognition of his expertise in music production and engineering.

"I was totally in shock at winning the award," said Mr. Farmer. "There are so many great engineers in this business, and to be recognized by an organization like ISSA is a bit overwhelming." Joy Adams, who traveled from New Zealand to support Farmer, also presented an award for USA Female Single of the Year at this year's ceremony. Last year, Adams herself won a gold award for her album Just One Little Thing , which was produced by Farmer. Farmer's impressive portfolio continues to grow, with projects that include producing tracks for Sony recording artist Dennis Marsh in New Zealand, which earned a gold record.

When asked if this year's award would change his approach to his work, Farmer responded, "Every project is just as important as the ones for major recording acts. I just want to help keep music alive and give my clients the best project I can."

In addition to producing for others, Gary R. Farmer is also writing and releasing his own songs, which are available on all major streaming platforms. His music has garnered significant attention, with over 1.5 million streams in just the past 18 months.
