Malaysian Horror "Two Sisters" Now on Tubi TV

Mysterious, creepy, and gripping, writer/director James Lee's Two Sisters offers a stellar performance by Emily Lim (Best Actress winner, Kuala Lumpur Film Critics Association of Malaysia and Best Actress nominee, Malaysian Film Festival) in a tale of two adult sisters reunited after a long separation with unexpected results.
Best-selling author MeiXi (Emily Lim) has just launched her newest novel about a woman with multiple personality disorder when she learns that her younger sister MeiYue (Lim Mei Fen) is soon to be released from an asylum. Not only does MeiXi find out that she must sell her family home and split the profits with her sibling, but MeiXi's share of the inheritance depends on her caring for her sister until MeiYue can stand on her own two feet.
Returning to their abandoned childhood home, the sisters experience strange visions, sounds, and occurrences, which slowly reveal a tragic family mystery.
Director James Lee is an award-winning independent filmmaker from Malaysia. He's also one of the pioneers of indie digital video film-making. His films have won awards in festivals in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Singapore.
Nicholas Liew Davis's haunting music was awarded Best Score by the Malaysian Film Festival in 2019.
The film has never been available for U.S. audiences until now.
