CN Publicity, Inc. - LOS ANGELES, CA, January 19, 2008 — Perth singing sensation Samantha Jade has finally finished her debut album in the United States - four years after leaving the Australian shores to chase big-time success. Jade, now signed to America's Jive Records - the same label as Pink, Backstreet Boys, and Justin Timberlake - signs on with Los Angeles-based PR firm, Celebrity Nightlife Publicity, Inc.

Jade has made great strides since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, along with her parents and two younger brothers, to pursue her singing dream.

The Perth-born singer/songwriter Samantha Jade retired as a successful model in Australia when she made her worldwide pop music debut at the age of 16. Modeling began at age four and being bitten by the music bug came at age nine when Samantha won her first talent show singing "Amazing Grace." Writing music soon became a passion, and by 2004, she was just 16 when she landed her song "Secret Love" on the Shark Tale soundtrack.

The song was performed by teen pop star JoJo, but it wasn't long before Jade's powerful singing voice would be featured on another 2006 soundtrack, Step Up, which put the now 20-year-old singer in the company of Ciara, Kelis, and Sean Paul. Jade's track, also titled "Step Up," was written in part by superstar songwriter Diane Warren and produced by Wyclef Jean. The Jive record company used the catchy single to promote Jade's own full-length debut.

Her 1st single 'Turn Around' off the forthcoming debut album was produced by Soulshock and Karlin, the hit-making team who have penned and produced a slew of hits for artists such as Usher, Brandy, Sting, and Whitney Houston. The track is currently at US Pop Radio.

"I've been waiting a long time to get the album out," said Jade, 20, who elected the help of a-list producers such as Timbaland, Lil Jon and Rodney Jerkins.

Jade is taking her career to the next level by signing on with Los Angeles based public relations firm Celebrity Nightlife Publicity, Inc... London Moore, the firm's owner, states "We plan to increase public awareness of Samantha's undeniable talent in the industry, and further the establishment of Samantha's fan base."

Most recently the young Perth "Pop Sensation" Samantha, Jade made headlines when she almost stole Britney Spears' thunder.

Apparently Britney kept crews waiting 12 hours to shoot the film clip for her new single "Pieces of Me." Britney's frustrated label Jive then offered the shoot to her stablemate Samantha. But apparently, when Britney arrived Jive withdrew their offer, but the story gave Samantha much-needed US publicity.
