The second volume of the short story series "_Guido's skurrile_ _AnekTOTEN_", entitled "_Die achte Witwe"_ (The Eighth Widow), also immerses the reader in the world of the uncanny. They are captivating, dramatic, spooky and disturbing at the same time - and definitely touching.
The evil and the good in people are revealed in equal measure in the stories of the author, who describes himself on his website (www.guidosawatzki.de) as a dreamer and a seeker between endless worlds. He wants to show that the seemingly unnatural is sometimes the most natural thing in the world and that emotion and reason are not opposites.

The reader experiences both dramatic and touching moments; humorous interludes provide relief. The bizarre course of the stories is both bizarre and disturbing - the ending: completely unexpected.

Author Guido Sawatzki, born in 1951, studied philosophy and political science in Tübingen, where he discovered his passion for writing. Until 2016, he worked as a journalist for around a dozen newspapers, partly as a permanent employee, partly freelance, and gave seminars on quality journalism.
He started writing books during a tropical storm in the Seychelles, where he obsessively wrote page after page on the terrace of his hotel over tea with lemon - and couldn't get away from it.
His aim: to prevent people from disappearing into a drawer.
