Dr. Guido Quelle, founding member of “Strategy Masterminds”. Mandat Managementberatung GmbH strengthens international network

Dortmund, June 19, 2009 - Dr. Guido Quelle, managing partner of Mandat Managementberatung GmbH, Dortmund (Germany), is one of the founding members of The Strategy Masterminds, an international network of management consultants from the USA, Canada, the UK and Germany. With his company Mandat, Dr. Quelle is the first and currently only German consultant in this network.

“I was very pleased when I received the offer from the USA to join this small but choice group,” says Dr. Quelle. “Of course there are many consultancy networks but only a small number of those do actually put the client’s benefit first,” the consultant from Germany explains. He continues to say that the Strategy Masterminds were committed specifically to leveraging the consultants’ international experience in order to find sustainable solutions for their own clients faster.

“The benefit for our clients is based on the principle of the best solution. We call this ‘Best Practices’,” says Dr. Quelle. “The likelihood that a certain challenge has already been mastered by a member of the network is high,” Dr. Quelle points out. In Dr. Quelle’s opinion, by making use of this, members can directly profit from the experience of the other members and markedly increase the speed of implementation. As a result, Dr. Quelle hopes to provide Mandat clients with reduced project times and an even more effective outcome.

Making more efficient use of time, the members of the network work together once a month, holding facilitated telephone conferences or virtual meetings on the Internet. “By doing so, we ensure a regular exchange without having to travel across continents,” Dr. Quelle explains. He also points out that the regular exchange ensures mutual accountability and actual implementation of previously discussed issues. According to Dr. Quelle, the whole group ultimately profits from a single member’s success.

The members of The Strategy Masterminds continue to be independent contractors. “We help one another and are pleased when a colleague posts a success,” says Quelle. That way, every member participates in the success of the others to a certain extent.

The initiator of the network is Lisa Hamaker, Principal of Kaliday Marketing, Bolton, MA (USA). Other founding members - apart from Dr. Guido Quelle with Mandat - are Pamela Harper (Business Advancement Inc., Glen Rock, NJ (USA), Ann Latham (Uncommon Clarity Inc., Easthampton, MA (USA), Stuart Cross (Morgan Cross Consulting Ltd., Newark, UK) and Phil Symchych (Symchych Consulting Group, Regina, Canada).
