Accsense Electrocorder Data Loggers

Accsense Electrocorder Data Loggers

Save 15% off Select Models!
Starting today, CAS DataLoggers is offering a 15% discount on select models in its line of Accsense Electrocorder dataloggers! These electrical logging devices monitor power/energy, current/voltage, power factor and more. Our Application Engineers are available with more details—just call 1-800-956-4437!

The Accsense Advantage:

Accsense Electrocorder products use a constant sampling technique, unlike the single ‘snapshot’ reading of competing devices. When these data loggers start to record, they sample every channel 16 times per cycle (a cycle being 16ms at 60Hz and 20ms at 50Hz). We offer many different models to suit a wide range of monitoring applications and requirements.

At the end of each averaging period, the data logger saves 3 quantities for each channel: the True RMS average, the Max (the highest cycle value during the period) and the Min (the lowest cycle value). Accsense Electrocorder dataloggers will record all the peaks and valleys which are one cycle or longer.

Save 15% off select models including:

• DC-3V Three-Channel DC Voltage Logger (RS models only)
• DC-3VA Two-Channel DC Voltage and Current Logger (TT model only)
• EC-3A Single and Three-Phase Current Logger (RS model only)
• EC-1V Single-Phase Voltage Logger

DC-3V Three Channel Voltage Logger:
The DC-3V data logger is specifically designed to accurately monitor one, two or three DC voltage channels, 1V to 60Vdc. This allows you to monitor charger performance and PV (photovoltaic) cell output, as well as many other applications like DC motors.

DC-3VA Voltage and DC Current Logger:
The DC-3VA two channel data logger is specifically designed to accurately monitor one or two DC voltage channels, 1V to 300Vdc and one DC current channel, allowing you to monitor PV (photovoltaic) cell output, DC charger performance, as well as many other applications - like DC motors.

EC-3A Single & Three Phase Current/Load Logger:
This data logger is specifically designed to monitor one, two or three current channels, allowing you to monitor the loading and energy consumption of the installation. The stored data is uploaded to a PC via the supplied USB cable.

EC-1V Single-Phase Waterproof Voltage Logger:
The EC-1V data logger is widely used to monitor voltage variations on site, allowing voltage problems to be highlighted quickly for further investigation using traditional recorders.

Configuration and Analysis Software:

FREE Electrosoft software is also provided in the kit, allowing users to define the voltage so they can plot power and energy, then simply upload recorded data via USB to a PC for analysis. Electrosoft allows you to graph and export data files as well as plot energy costs and savings using voltage optimization techniques.

The Basics of Signal Attenuation
Maximize Signal Range and Wireless Monitoring Capability Signal attenuation is the reduction of energy or a radio frequency (RF) transmission, such as when sending data via WiFi, Zigbee, or some communication protocol for applications such as automated temperature monitoring. Attenuation is represented in decibels (dB), which is ten times the logarithm of the signal power at a particular input or source location in watts divided by the output or receiving end

Runtime Monitoring Using a dataTaker Data Logger
For Machine monitoring, Productivity Assessment & Troubleshooting At CAS DataLoggers, many of our callers want to see how often one or more of their machines are operating and when. This pinpoints machine downtime and can identify poor work productivity, or identifies if another cause is at work (power outages etc.) In our latest Technical Article, we outline how to configure a Series 4 dataTaker DT8x Data Logger for runtime monitoring. What
WHAT IS A DATA LOGGER?
Understanding Data Loggers What is a data logger? The generally accepted answer is that a datalogger is an electronic device that autonomously records data from some type of sensor and stores it in local memory with a time and date stamp. Data Loggers are widely used in virtually every industry for a variety of applications. Temperature is the most commonly measured parameter and is also the most commonly recorded parameter. There
Data Logger vs DAQ
Key Differences Between Data Logging and Data Acquisition What is the difference between a Data Logger and a Data Acquisition System (DAQ)? A data logger is a type of data acquisition system, but a data acquisition system is not necessarily a datalogger. There are several key functional differences in how the market understands these two classes of instruments. While the differences between these two types of instruments have been reduced
