Shekhawati Rajasthan Pilani Lead School JMA Celebrates UN World Bicycle Day

As per Resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 12 April 2018, the first official World Bicycle Day was celebrated on June 3, 2018. The bicycle is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation. The bicycle can serve as a tool for development and as a means not just of transportation but also of access to education, health care and sport. World Bicycle Day draws attention to the benefits of using the bicycle.

Smt. Jamuna Mishra Academy - JMA established in the year 2004 has been making rapid strides in holistic education at Pilani. JMA is presently one of the most sought after schools at Pilani considered as Oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan well known in India today for top ranking and eminent institutions like BITS, CSIR CEERI. On 03 June 2024 JMA joined hands with RMA & Sports Academy Pilani to organize a 5 Km cycle rally from the school grounds. Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan addressed the students participating in the rally and thanked sports academy Director Mr Johny Mahesh Swami for organizing the event and Shri P J Thakuria of BET Pilani for gracing the occasion.
