Management Simulations Changes Name to Capsim® Management Simulations, Inc. (Capsim)
NORTHFIELD, Ill. – Jan. 10, 2008 – Management Simulations, Inc., the world’s largest supplier of business simulations, announced today that it has changed its name to Capsim® Management Simulations, Inc. (Capsim). Company President Dan Smith offered the following insight:“For many years, our company name was Management Simulations, Inc.® or ‘MSI®,’ and our website was www.capsim.com. As an Internet-based company, our customers all typed ‘Capsim’ when they wanted to reach us. As our technologies became more popular in the business simulation marketplace, more and more customers came to think of our company, and even our products, as Capsim.
“Finally, after so many years, we got the hint. If the most important people in the world, our customers, tell us we are Capsim, then we have to agree.
“Since 1985, Capsim has helped develop the role of simulation-based business education for academic and executive training. One thing that has not changed is the company’s commitment to preparing the next generation of corporate leaders through simulated experiences. Every year, we initiate thousands and thousands of contacts with our customers, and through their feedback, Capstone® Business Simulation has developed into the world’s best selling business simulation.
“We value our customer feedback and look forward to continuing to build lasting relationships with leading corporations and universities as the number one choice for business simulation technology.”
Along with the name change, the company has re-branded its corporate identity and adopted a new corporate logo. The changes are effective immediately, and all future business activity will be conducted under the new name.
