Milwaukee Local Retiree Launches "Jewelry-On Purpose" to Support Community Causes
Linda Minckler, Owner of Jewelry-On Purpose
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Linda has always had a flair for creativity and a deep-seated desire to help others. After an impressive 44-year career in cosmetology, where she dedicated herself to making her clients look and feel their best, Linda retired in 2020. However, her retirement didn't signify an end to her mission of touching lives.
Looking to fill the creative void left by her hairstyling career, Linda revisited her hobby of jewelry making-a craft she had cherished for years. This pastime soon evolved into something much more significant. Jewelry-On Purpose was born, turning Linda's love for creating beautiful bracelets into a purposeful endeavor aimed at supporting various causes dear to her heart.
"Each piece of jewelry I create is more than just an accessory," Linda explains. "It's a symbol of support for causes that matter to me and to many others. I wanted to find a way to continue giving back, even in my retirement, and Jewelry-On Purpose allows me to do just that."
Linda's bracelets are crafted with care and intention, designed to raise awareness and funds for important community issues. The causes she supports include breast cancer awareness, the fight against human trafficking, autism support, pet adoption and animal welfare, and the preservation of bees.
