Extension of demand bundling for fiber optic expansion in Friedeburg
Friedeburg, 27.05.2024Good news for the residents of Friedeburg: the deadline for fiber optic demand bundling has been extended to 21.06.2024. This gives the last remaining households the opportunity to secure a future-proof fiber optic connection and benefit from the numerous advantages of this modern technology.
This extension offers the last unique chance to connect and become part of the digital revolution in Friedeburg.

Who is affected by demand aggregation?
600 addresses in the districts of Etzel, Wiesede, Reepsholt, Wiesedermeer, Marx and Horsten are affected by this self-sufficient project. In order to carry out the expansion, a minimum participation rate of 40% per district is required.
What are the costs?
During the demand bundling period, the house connection is offered free of charge for 2 years in conjunction with an Internet contract. A special offer of €19.95 per month is also available for the first 6 months. After the 6 months, the contract for 400 Mbit download costs €44.95.
Where can I check which addresses are part of the demand bundling?
Interested parties can check whether their address is affected at www.epcan.de/verfuegbarkeit or call 02564 883374.
How many residents have already taken part?
In the villages of Etzel, Marx and Horsten, the 30% mark has already been exceeded. Only a few more contracts are needed to reach the required 40% mark.
When will the expansion begin?
Detailed planning will begin immediately after demand has been bundled so that expansion can probably start at the beginning of next year.
