For many international property investors buying in the United States, it is vital to be within easy reach of a top-quality school.

This is particularly true of Chinese investors and their families, who greatly value education and rank finding a property near an excellent school as a top priority.

Insurance specialist, HomeUnion, has recently unveiled the results of a new study identifying the most affordable zip codes in major U.S. metro areas with the best public schools and Windermere was placed in the top 25 in the country.

Home buyers should consider a school’s test scores when making the decision to buy a home if they have children or plan to have children in the future, according to U.S. News & World Report. Graduation rates and student-to-teacher ratios also provide a deeper assessment of school quality.
