Knürr Electronic Workstations in Use at KEBA Linz

Knürr Technical Furniture has installed 30 Electronic Workstations for the R&D area for KEBA AG at its Linz site in Upper Austria.

At Knürr’s lab stations, innovations are checked, electronic components for KEBA AG’s complete range of expertise are tested, and observation of all parameters as the basis for a stable series product in accordance with ISO9000 is quality checked.
The lab is fully ESD-equipped – from ESD floors to workstations and installation components. “Depending on the shoe material, speed and humidity in the centrally-heated rooms, voltages of 100 to 2000 volts may be generated. These ‘electrostatic sensitive devices’ (ESD) are protected by appropriate components and an ESD total concept”, explains Knürr Product Manager Herbert Neudert.
Quality and innovation standards have been established in close cooperation with Knürr Technical Furniture. In accordance with the “Automation by Innovation” principle, KEBA AG invests approx. 18 % of its turnover in research and development every year.
