THE MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL NAMES ASCEDIA A WINNER OF THE SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN AREA 2016 TOP WORKPLACES AWARD
Milwaukee, Wis. (April 28, 2016) — Ascedia, a full-service digital agency based in Milwaukee, Wis., has been awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces in Wisconsin honor by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In its second year of eligibility, the agency ranked 66 out of 75 winners in the 2016 Top Small Workplaces category.“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day — the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution and Connection, just to name a few. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, companies that appear on the Top Workplaces list have a working environment that allows them to outperform peers
“To win our second consecutive Top Workplaces award in our second year of eligibility is an honor. It’s particularly meaningful because our employees made it happen,” said Tom Johnston, President of Ascedia. “Everything that’s great about Ascedia is because of our people. Their commitment to our company, our clients and our culture is what makes Ascedia a great place to work.”
The Top Workplaces honor is the latest in a string of recognition for the digital marketing agency. In 2015, Ascedia was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list due to the agency’s sustained growth in client acquisition across the healthcare, travel and tourism, higher education and manufacturing industries. Through its close partnerships with technology providers including Kentico, Coveo, Widen and Sitecore, Ascedia continues to develop a wide range of solutions for its clients while also offering a rich environment for web developers and designers to further their careers.
