Fiber fineness test method
1. Direct measurement method:
The microscope method, the fiber projection measurement technique, the laser fineness test method, the computer image automated measurement method, the quantitative method, and so on.
2. Indirect measurement method:
Methods such as mid-section weight, air flow, vibration, and so on.
The fineness of wool and the longitudinal projected diameter of fibers with round cross-sections are routinely measured using microscopy.
