Lohmar, December 15, 2023 – "Life-altering", is the view many hold towards a student exchange year. Parents who reunite with their child after 3, 5, or 10 months discover new facets to their offspring. Different questions and viewpoints, perhaps a slightly altered behavior. Non-profit student exchange organization International EXPERIENCE e.V. caters to teenagers attending schools in English, Spanish speaking countries, France, Italy, and Finland, and living in host families. Regardless of the destination, discussions with over 10,000 students and their parents over the past 20 years have revealed to the experts that the learning experience is similar. While different cultures, circumstances, and foreign schools tend to vary greatly, all participants seem to surpass themselves and show rapid development.
