Liverpool Legends The Christians are set to rock The Wirral!

The Christians will be performing their hits such “Harvest for the World”, “Hooverville”, “Forgotten Town” and “Ideal World”.
Lead singer Garry Christian said “The Christians were thrilled to be invited to perform with our favourites Status Quo. Wirral Hospice continue to provide an outstanding service in the most difficult of circumstances. Who wouldn’t want to support that cause?”
All proceeds from Wirral Rocks will go towards Wirral Hospice St John’s running costs.
John Pentland, Wirral Hospice St John’s Director, said “We are delighted that The Christians are supporting our charity by performing for us at Wirral Rocks. This is a new event for us and it’s great that we have got such big names on board for the first year. What an amazing night we have now got planned for the Saturday with The Christians joining the mighty Status Quo!”
Wirral Rocks is being run over two night with Will Young and special guests appearing on Friday 20th May, and Insanity Beach, The Christians and Status Quo appearing on Saturday 21st May.

Wirral Rocks will take place at Tranmere Rovers Stadium, Prenton Park, over two nights. The event is being organised by local charity Wirral Hospice and will raise money for the Hospice's special care and support of patients and their families. Tranmere Rovers Football Club have kindly provided the use of their ground free of charge.
