Kevin J. Ryan hails from and grew up in County Dublin, Ireland. Influenced by Ireland's literary heroes such as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde and U2, Kevin started training as an actor by the age of 12. Having substantial success as an entertainer in his home country, in 2003, Kevin moved to Los Angeles with the goal of becoming an American television and film star.
