Venus Rises enlists engineering students at Stevens Institute of Technology in film production.

Forked River, NJ - Hermit of the Mountain, LLC. recruited crew and talent from Stevens Institute of Technology for their upcoming episode Interspace iii: "Graduation Day".

WHAT: Hermit of the Mountain filmed "Graduation Day", the second episode of their original science-fiction series "Venus Rises", at Stevens Institute of Technology.

WHY: Stevens alumni in the production including Damien Amores, Arnand Kularajah, Michael Krupnick, and Julia Howe, recognized an opportunity for the student operators of SITTV-6 to be involved in a real sci-fi show in the making.

WHERE: Stevens Institute of Technology, Castle Point on the Hudson, Hoboken, NJ.

WHEN: September 2007

HOW: Hermit of the Mountain recognized the award-winning Babbio Center as a perfect location for the show. Student volunteers from SITTV-6 assisted with the production by capturing behind the scenes footage, operating boom mics, and recruiting extras for the show.

WHO: The script written by C.S. Arnold III (Smallville, One Tree Hill, O.C.) includes the talents of Jack P. Dempsey (Redshirt Blues, Guiding Light, One Life to Live) and students Louis Simons, Matthew Keyser, Kyle Ingram, and John Gillespie.
