Vacuum pumps with a variety of operating principles were exhibited on the Busch stand at Vacuum Expo in Coventry. As the leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps and systems, Busch produces models for all vacuum levels from rough to high vacuum. The main focus of the Busch stand was the COBRA screw technology – proven systems for vacuum generation to 0.01 mbar. These dry-running vacuum pumps are used as standalone vacuum pumps for rough and medium vacuum applications. They are also installed as backing pumps in high vacuum systems, in combination with Roots booster vacuum pumps.

The Busch stand also presented three new series of Turbo turbomolecular, Zebra 2 stage rotary vane and Rangu oil diffusion vacuum pumps. As sales manager Mark Sumnall explains: “The addition of these three series to our product range allows Busch to offer systems for practically all applications, from rough to high vacuum. A choice of operating principles is available, providing our customers with the ideal solution“.

The numerous visitors to the Busch stand were mainly interested in vacuum systems for heat treatment furnaces, vacuum brazing, metallisation for packaging and automotive applications, optical vacuum coating applications as well as a broad range of start-up and development applications in University and Research companies
