Centralised vacuum plant for food packaging

Centralised vacuum plant for food packaging

Busch is the world's leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps for food packaging.
The latest Busch vacuum systems for food packaging will be presented at the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition held from 9. to 11. November 2014in Dubai. The main focus of the Busch exhibition stand will be the rotary vane vacuum pump R 5,
the world's most advanced vacuum pump for the food packaging industry. R 5 rotary vane vacuum
pumps are available in many sizes and variants, and may be matched precisely to individual packaging
machines and systems.

R 5 rotary vane vacuum pumps are also used in centralised vacuum supply systems, which offer
considerable financial advantages to large companies: vacuum pumps connected directly to packaging
machines or lines are replaced by a central vacuum system supplying the entire production facility,
significantly reducing the number of vacuum pumps required. The centralised system is installed away
from production or packaging areas, and is connected by pipes to packaging and processing machines
that require vacuum.

Centralised vacuum supply systems offer clear advantages:
• maximum operating efficiency - fewer vacuum pumps are required, as the system is demand-driven
• lower air conditioning costs - vacuum pumps are removed from production areas
• easier maintenance - servicing tasks may be carried out without interrupting production lines

Busch has the most comprehensive service network in the world for vacuum pumps, blowers and
compressors: 59 subsidiaries employing over 2600 staff. Customers in the United Arab Emirates receive
direct assistance from Busch Vacuum FZE in Dubai.

Visit us at Gulfood Manufacturing - we would be pleased to welcome you to our stand in the German
Pavilion.
