Chinese Film "In Pursuit of Light" to Screen at SIFF Film Center on March 25
Seattle, WA - STArt Film Studio, in partnership with Parallax Films, is proud to present the documentary film "In Pursuit of Light" at the SIFF Film Center on March 25, 2023."In Pursuit of Light", directed by Tongdao Zhang, is a powerful tribute to the development of Chinese cinema in the past century. The film follows the journey of a renowned Chinese actress Lisa Lu, as she shares her experiences and career in the industry. The film also features the stories of other legendary Chinese film actors and filmmakers, including Anna May Wong and Bruce Lee.
"In Pursuit of Light" is a remarkable and insightful film that sheds light on the journey of Chinese cinema and its cultural significance," said a spokesperson of STArt Film Studio.
To honor the film's themes of representation and diversity, STArt Film Studio has prepared a significant viewing favor for each audience member - an Anna May Wong quarter, featuring the first Asian image on U.S. currency.
