Ted Wilson Praised Adventist University of Africa as a "Fine Institution" with a "Dedicated Faculty," the same Institution that "Led" an Ecumenical Service Just Days Earlier to Strengthen Ties with Rome
On February 7, 2023, President Ted Wilson visited the Adventist University of Africa, which is located at the East-Central African Division headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. This was part of Wilson's three-week trip to five African countries. Ted Wilson spoke about his "wonderful" visit to Adventist University of Africa and "praised God" for this "fine institution" and for its "dedicated faculty."This was the same Adventist University of Africa that had recently "led" an interfaith bridge-building service at a Roman Catholic institution. Adventist University of Africa didn't just participate a few days before in an ecumenical event; they led the other churches in bringing them together with Rome. Basically, certain Seventh-day Adventists have done so well at ecumenism that many of our leaders are now in charge of promoting the cause of uniting the churches.
A Facebook post was published by the Catholic University of Eastern Africa on February 1, 2023, just one week before Ted Wilson visited the Adventist University of Africa (AUA). This Roman Catholic institution just announced that Pastor Dr. David Odhiambo from the AUA "led" the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity ecumenical service that was aimed to unite the many Christian religions. Pastor Dr. David Odhiambo is a member of the faculty at AUA and instructs the students there. When he's not educating our young people, he promotes the Vatican's effort to unite the churches together at their facilities. In fact, it was the Vatican's Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity that set the theme for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and supplied the spiritual materials.
Pastor Dr. David Odhiambo was representing the Adventist University of Africa at this ecumenical gathering. He wouldn't be leading the ecumenical movement if he didn't have enablers at AUA who support him. All of this is made possible by the example provided by leaders like Ganoune Diop. And Ted Wilson, the president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, publicly praised the Adventist University of Africa and its administration, which further cemented this and other efforts. Do we not see the significant conflict of interest here?

Ellen G. White's Warning and Its Fulfillment in Worldly Adventist Academies
On December 16, 2025, the Seventh-day Adventist Academy in Pulierranghy, India, held a Christmas program that featured numerous Santa Clauses, played by students and faculty. [1] The students jumped, shouted, and danced to loud music, while the staff on stage moved in a manner reminiscent of pure paganism.
Ellen G. White issued one of her most solemn end-time warnings-one that speaks to many of our institutions. Referring to a bedlam of…

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Giovanni Caccamo, a Seventh-day Adventist pastor, publicly embraced Roman Catholic Bishop Antonio Napolioni during an ecumenical worship service commemorating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The gesture symbolized a visible unity between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Roman Catholic Church in Italy within a formal ecumenical setting. Pope Leo XIV to Ecumenical Leaders: "We Are One, Let's Make It Visible"
Ecumenism is indeed fulfilling prophecy-but not the prophecy God calls His people to advance or embrace. The world is being drawn into a single religious and political body, as revealed by Scripture: "And all the world wondered after the beast" (Revelation 13:3). This is not a revival of godliness; it is universal apostasy-a global movement that, under the appearance of unity, peace, and love, is leading people away from Bible…
