The Government Contracting Institute announces Educational Partnership with National Contract Management Association (NCMA)

The Government Contracting Institute is now an educational partner with the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). The Government Contracting Institute offers advanced level instructor-led classes and internet-based webinars aimed at improving government contractor business skills and strengthening a relevant knowledge base of contracting legal, accounting and business development issues. As an educational partner the Institute can now offer NCMA Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to class attendees.

The NCMA is a membership-based, professional society formed in 1959 to foster professional growth and educational advancement for its now over 20,000 members world-wide members.

“The Government Contracting Institute moved to the bwtech@UMBC Research Business Park on the UMBC campus to initially serve the local Maryland business community and the 120+ co-located incubator companies,” said Gloria Larkin, president of TargetGov. “But we have found that our proximity to BWI airport and the advanced class content has attracted business people from all over the U.S. Now that we offer CPEs through NCMA, we expect to see even greater attendance and growth.”
