EquityMatch.co launch another session of 'Weekly Pitch Events'

EquityMatch.co took on the stage once again on November 8th, 2022, to launch another session of 'Weekly Pitch Events'. This is a live online broadcast that features novel startups pitching their ventures to a targeted group of potential investors. Numerous individuals who may be interested can now join with EquityMatch.co. For more details on the focused groundbreaking startup pitches, tune in every Tuesday from 5.00 pm to 7.00 p.m. GMT via Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

During this pitch, 5 exceptional founders attended, who are aiming to raise money for their businesses. They were hand-chosen by EquityMatch.co after careful deliberation to make presentations to venture capitalists and angel investors all over the world. The event was hosted by Massimiliano (Max) Sulpizi, the founder of "EquityMatch.co" and Managing Partner of HSMI-Corporate Advisory. In addition to serving as CEO, he has also worked as a venture capitalist, business owner, and merchant banker. In the infrastructure, fashion, real estate, and technology sectors, he has advised companies on deals worth more than €100 million and fundraising efforts totaling more than €50 million.

Since it's ladies' first, the session began with Anna Gevorgyan. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of GOTCHA. While Finance is Anna's main background, she has also achieved over seven certificates in the field of emotional recognition and face profiling which significantly contributed to the business start-up in focus. In a nutshell, GOTCHA is a computer vision-based technology that detects micro emotions and analyses human facial behavior. Anna highlighted how the market for Global Emotion Detection is expected to grow to 43 billion by 2027 while also forecasting a 13% growth annually. GOTCHA has not only been a semi-finalist at the world-famous hub. Berlin, but also showcased its unique capabilities at the largest International Security Expo - held in London. "Our Sales strategy is direct, customized and also we adopted integration as a traction to boost Channel" Anna explained. She also added towards the end "We are SaaS. We offer our software as a service to our end users who are businesses, not customers".

The session focused on the next speaker - Joao Lages, the Co-Founder/General Manager of LYMPID. Joao began with a self-introductory where he mentioned that he comes from a traditional finance background. At LYMPID, they aim to build easy ways for anyone to access the valued blockchain products mainly around decentralized Finance. Joao explained that there's an opportunity to create a passive income by accessing blockchain products, but there's complexity with a steep learning curve - especially for small retailers. But LYMPID removes the jargon, creating a simplified-user friendly experience. He continued how LYMPID prioritizes security and transparency compliance. "We have KYC deployed crypto transactions" Joao stated, "monitoring custody with fire blocks and also a Risk Management Matrix that we use to do the curation of the products" he added. With LYMPID's multi-disciplinary team of experts, they hope to further expand. Joao ended his session by stating that LYMPID's key focus is on Europe, with plans to expand to the US.

The third speaker for the event was Tim Sandford. He is the CEO of NU Unlimited. Tim began his presentation by explaining what MENU is. What, it's not is a POS system, a compliance system or a nutrition calculator - it's all the systems and processes needed to run a Hospitality business in a single end-to-end solution. "Think ERP for Hospitality," Tim said. MENU is considered unique as it's built around one thing: food farm transparency. Tim believes this is the only way to deliver what businesses need. In the year after next MENU is aiming to raise around 2 million pounds to take the business global. Tim also mentioned that MENU belongs to a second-generation platform - which has contributed to providing a complete solution - it's not something anyone has achieved. "We have a very interesting technological as well as a market advantage" Tim explained. MENU helps make all of that data available to the consumer while marketing the producers (Farm to Fork). Thanks to its transparency act it offers restaurants safety from dodgy suppliers.

Our fourth speaker was Jack Dow, the CEO and Founder of GRAPEVINE, an AI technology that helps corporate travel agents to optimize the revenue in business travel. Jack began his presentation by pointing out the losses the TMC has made. 80% of core ancillaries (other than flights) are still booked from outside approved tools. 84 billion worth of bookings are made 'off-platform'(directly). GRAPEVINE can help avoid this. It identifies missed booking opportunities from data, and proactively re-targets travelers and optimizes booking conversions improving revenue. "This isn't just a revenue exercise for corporate travel agents. There're significant benefits to both corporates and employees as well", Jack elaborated. By 2027 GRAPEVINE is targeting $100 million ARR from business travel alone. GRAPEVINE'S current main clients are Gray Dawes Travel and Beyond Business Travel (UK), National Travel Service and Carousel Service (US), they have also been approached by industry giants like AMEX. 

Our last speaker at this pitch event was Vagan Abelyan who introduced himself as the Founder of BENEFITS. It's a no-code reward infrastructure for SMEs and Startups. Vagan began his presentation by showing that 90% of corporates use a reward system in all their business operations - such as customer loyalty programs and one-time-reward employee rewards. It can be done in the form of flyers or expensive software applications. But BENEFITS creates an all-in-one workspace to create, run and manage a reward system from anywhere in the world. This helps businesses boost their sales. BENEFITS have already gained popularity amongst customers, and they have many positive things, which Vagan shared during his presentation. "Our customers enjoy the implantation speed which has no implementation cost" Vagan added. BENEFITS made a public launch in October 2022 and they already have around 280 customers from around the world - Mainly from Europe and 30%-40% from the US.
