ISO Travel Solutions at the ITB 2014

During the ITB in Berlin, ISO Travel Solutions will present two new components for its Dynamic Travel Components for tourism: a new Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and the cache module Distribution Catalyst. The ITS will furthermore show its tourism-focused CRM system Emerald and the tour operator solution Pacific, with many new features for the incoming sector. Unlike in the previous years, the technology providers will this time be in hall 5.1. The pavilion of ISO Travel Solutions will therefore be in hall 5.1, stand 109.


The new ISO Internet Booking Engine (IBE), which is based on current technologies, can quickly and easily be adapted to meet individual customer needs.

The second innovation is the cache component Distribution Catalyst, which is based on proven Big Data technologies. It lets tour operators handle online and call center inquiries much faster than before. This is done by evaluating very large amounts of data in the shortest possible time with the greatest accuracy of the calculation so that inquiries as to price and availability can promptly be answered. This high-powered technology makes it possible to query data using highly flexible criteria directly in the graphical interface, for example with easy-to-use slider controls. Offers can be created in a customer-friendly matrix, to show the various combinations of travel dates and prices.

In addition to the cyclical filling of the cache, the component is also smart – query results are stored for immediate and direct access so that they do not have to be computed anew should they be inquired again. Offer data can furthermore be exported at fixed intervals and thus provided to an external distribution system.

With these new components ISO Travel Solutions takes a significant step toward technical support of online distribution – for both B2C and B2B. All this is based on the proven core system Pacific as the reservation system and Emerald as the tourism CRM system.
