Loma Linda University Health has become the Corporate Sponsor for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team, and all of the Races for the 2023 Schedule will be held on Saturday

Loma Linda University Health, an organizational unit of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, has just announced that they will be teaming up with the sports industry to sponsor motorcycle races across the United States. All of these motorcycle races take place on Saturday, and the majority of them are scheduled during the sacred hours of the Lord's Sabbath.

On November 4, 2022, the following news was published by Loma Linda University Health: "Motorsports group KTM North America has named Loma Linda University Health as its official healthcare sponsor of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team for 2023. The motocross team, headquartered in Murrieta, competes in the AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross and Super Motocross World Championships."

Tragically, what Loma Linda University Health fails to mention is that all the races for the AMA Supercross, the Pro Motocross, and the Super Motocross are held on Saturday. They don't race on any other day except Saturday. People will pay money on the Lord's Day to attend these motorcycle racing venues all across the United States that are being sponsored by Loma Linda University Health.

Trevor Wright, the CEO of Loma Linda University Health Hospitals, said the following about their relationship with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team: "Our two organizations represent excellence in our respective industries and a shared passion for the sport of motocross."

Trevor Wright doesn't sound like the leader of a major Seventh-day Adventist church organization. He sounds like an event promoter and advertising agent for motorcycle races that take place on the Sabbath.

First it was AdventHealth, a North American Division organization. Now it is Loma Linda University Health, a General Conference organization. Worldly, profit-making, Sabbath-breaking partnerships are sweeping through our institutions, as they are being run by woke modernists who have no interest in safeguarding the hours of the Sabbath. This is something the church cannot approve or support. We cannot continue to remain silent in the face of such blatant disobedience.

How can we become corporate sponsors for events that transgress God's commandments? The seventh-day Sabbath is one of the main features of our faith. And instead of safeguarding this truth, we are using our name, influence, and money to promote the breaking of the sacred hours of the Sabbath.
