DMC Atlanta Raises Money for Operation Smile
About Operation Smile:
Operation Smile is an international medical humanitarian organization, celebrating its 30 year anniversary. Operation Smile raises awareness of children born with cleft palates which often leave them unable to speak, eat, socialize and smile. The international charity has a presence in over 60 countries where they provide free corrective surgery for children and adults. Since 1982 the organization, thanks to its volunteer surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologist and other professional, has been able to provide over 160,000 surgeries. DMC Atlanta's efforts for 2013 have raised enough to change the lives of 20 children.
