Ven-American Real Estate adds to portfolio, names Shari Lynn Hurtado Director of Property Management

MIAMI, FL -- Ven-American Real Estate, Inc., a 22-year-old residential and commercial real estate company based in Coconut Grove, FL, has expanded its commercial property portfolio and named Shari Lynn Hurtado Director of Property Management, according to Ven-American founder Andrew Kruss. In her new role at Ven-American, Hurtado will continue to oversee property management at Monarch Commerce Center, where she has worked for the past six years, as well as other properties in Ven-American’s growing portfolio.

Ven-American recently assumed management of Monarch Commerce Center in Miramar, FL, Built in 2006, the 141,000-square foot, Class A industrial office park was named 2010 and 2012 Industrial Office Park of the Year in the annual TOBY Awards presented by BOMA of Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches. Several other office parks have previously won the prestigious TOBY award under Hurtado’s leadership.

A licensed Realtor who has spent her entire career in commercial property management, Hurtado holds the LEED AP certification (Accredited Professional, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), an internationally recognized program that promotes green building solutions, from design and construction to operations and maintenance.
Hurtado also holds an RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation from BOMI International, reflecting her broad understanding of all aspects of commercial property management.
