Press release from: TargetGov

After a successful Spring 2013 Semester with the Government Contracting Institute, TargetGov and bwtech@UMBC have planned the courses for Fall 2013, starting with Federal Contracting Gap Analysis on October 15, 2013. Attending these courses provides a unique perspective from experts on contracting issues with the federal government. Visit www.GovernmentContractingInstitute.com or call 443-543-5067 to learn more information.

The Government Contracting Institute covers a wide range of topics including Market Identification, Proposal Writing, the Federal Sales Process, GSA Schedules, and Project Management. All classes are held at 5520 Research Park Drive, adjacent to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), and last one or two full days from 8:30am to 4:00pm. These sessions provide attendees with the opportunity to receive advanced-level course content from experts in government contracting and also to discuss current topics and issues for assistance in this ever-changing market.

“The Government Contracting Institute is the only organization offering these advanced level classes in the DC area,” states Gloria Larkin, president of TargetGov. “We initially planned to serve business people from the MD-DC region but found that we had attendees flying in from all over the U.S. to attend, thanks to our convenient location just minutes from BWI airport.”

The Government Contracting Institute has made a positive impact with the attending business people as well as the bwtech@UMBC’s business incubator residents. Comments from past attendees have included: “I attribute our winning our first prime contact directly to what I learned at the Institute” and “This was well worth the time. I can apply what we covered immediately to help us.” The twelve Fall classes cover all aspects this complicated and lucrative market including accounting, legal issues, project management and proposal writing.
