Press release from: SkatMedia

The third week in August was, apart from the bad weather, a hot case for Skat friends. From the 13th to the 19th of August online and offline players met for a week of Skat tournaments organized by www.skat-online-liga.com in the middle of Germany, in Kirchheim, Hesse. Beside the SeePark-Cup, played over 12 runs during the whole week, 225 players had been registered solely for the 4th German open mastership of the Skat-Online league.
Matthias Mueller won the individual competition in front of Ingolf Muench and Heiko Ruescher. The valuation for Tandem and Mixed was made by the team Roland Buenten and Nathalie Loewen, who´s registered nicknames were Jumbo and Natja in tandem and “Saxonies ruin” in mixed. Due to his win of the SeePark-Cup it was easy for Roland Buenten to become the overall leader in the 18 series of the Skat week.
At the tournament, executed by Skat-International, the participation of young people was higher-than-average and even the official world champions Bernd Uhl and Angelika Pullig attended as well as ISPA players from Spain and Canada. For scores and impressions see www.skatfreunde.de/kirchheim.
