Alcohol, Music, Dancing, Disney, and AdventHealth: When Will the General Conference Finally Put an End to this Abomination in the Church?

At the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, close to Orlando, there is a retail, dining, and entertainment district called Disney Springs, formerly known as Downtown Disney. The AdventHealth Waterside stage is located in Disney Springs next to the LEGO Center and the World of Disney, the world's largest Disney character store. According to Disney, the AdventHealth Waterside Stage is an "open-air" entertainment venue for "special events and live performances" that take place "each day and evening," including on the sacred hours of God's Sabbath.

The AdventHealth Waterside Stage is described by Disney as follows: "Lakeside Entertainment - As the sun goes down, relax as the air fills with the sounds of the show. Enjoy a lineup of bands, concerts and even a DJ Kids Dance Party at this expansive outdoor stage. It's the perfect place to get your daily entertainment fix!"

Alcohol flows at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage. In fact, alcohol is considered to be "a big part of the Walt Disney World vacation experience." Not only does AdventHealth, a Seventh-day Adventist healthcare system, have a partnership with Disney, but they also have an alcohol-fueled music, dance, and party venue named after them.

In a video taken at the event, partiers sing and dance as people line up to purchase their preferred choice of liquor: Jack Daniels, Crown Royal, Bacardi, Jameson, and others. These party revelers were praising the gods of this world through music, dance, and alcohol under the name of a Seventh-day Adventist Church entity, AdvenHealth, while simultaneously calling upon "heaven." In the second song of the aforementioned video, a band can be heard singing the following lyrics during the alcohol-fueled party: "Don't you worry, don't you worry, child. See, heaven's got a plan for you. Don't you worry, don't you worry now."

This phrase is repeated seven times in the song. Dancing, flashing lights, loud music, alcohol, calling upon "heaven" - all of this was done at the AdventHealth entertainment pavilion. Brothers and sisters, this was a big, giant open-air bar! People were lining up to buy hard liquor and beer. This is done every night, including Friday night, God's Sabbath.

Our church leaders are sponsoring this abomination. We are involved in this. These are our alcoholic partners. This is the same AdventHealth that sponsored the 2022 General Conference Session. AdventHealth was a "Platinum Plus Sponsor" for the General Conference Sessions. AdventHealth has one foot in Disney's open-air bar with our name on it and another foot at the General Conference Sessions, a global gathering of world delegates and leaders that conducted church business and prayed several times for the outpouring of the Latter Rain. However, there was no Latter Rain, and the only fluid that was made available was the liquor flowing out of the whiskey bottles at these church-sponsored drinking parties at Disney.
