Firewalls for Extreme Environmental Conditions
The LEC-6020 is available in two configurations for increased flexibility. The LEC-6020A has 3 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 LAN ports with Generation 2 LAN Bypass available on one pair, 4 USB 2.0 ports, and 4 COM ports. It also includes a Mini –PCIe expansion slot for increased flexibility, while the LEC-6020B offers 5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 LAN ports with 2 pairs of Generation 2 Bypass, plus 2 USB 2.0 ports.
The LEC-6020 is a DIN rail mounted, highly compact industrial firewall with outstanding tolerance of harsh environmental conditions. With the addition of LAN Bypass to strengthen its network security credentials, the LEC-6020 can provide superb levels of network uptime and security assurance.
Jeffrey Wang, Senior Manager of Industrial Communications at Lanner
With a fanless design to reduce system outages and the introduction of dust into the interior of the device, the LEC-6020 still boasts an impressive temperature tolerance range from -40oC to 70oC (-40oF to 158oF). The inclusion of ESD and surge protection on the Serial COM ports of the LEC-6020A is a further boost to this PC’s ability to operate in the most challenging of conditions.
The LEC-6020 is compatible with Microsoft operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Linux (kernel 2.6 and above). It will be on show at the Lanner booth (#5115) at ASIS International 2013, held in Chicago from September 24 to September 27.
