EquityMatch.co hosts a private Pitching session on

The second webinar in the series, hosted by the smart startup funding platform EquityMatch.co in the United Kingdom, was a success, leading to the second private pitching session on "The Health Sector." The session was held on March 28th, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. GMT. The event was free and open to the general public, and it was streamed live on Zoom.
EquityMatch.co hosted the global webinar on "The Future of Healthcare and startups in the healthtech industry" which focused on healthcare, providing founders the chance to pitch their businesses and talk about how they are changing the market. Nine world-famous innovators and industry executives served as panelists for the event, and they were effective in delivering crucial knowledge to the participants. The conversation was moderated by Massimiliano (Max) Sulpizi, the founder of 'EquityMatch.co.' He is also a successful businessman, venture capitalist, merchant banker, and executive, as well as the Founder and Managing Partner of HSMI-Corporate Advisory, where he has advised clients on over €100 million in transactions and €50 million in fundraising in the infrastructure, fashion, real estate, and technology sectors.
Inna Burgstaller, the founder of Bionabu, was the first speaker of the session. In the sectors of HealthTech, MedTech, and BioTech, she is a founder, connector, and matchmaker. Ina has 15 years of experience in the CRO, Pharma, and BioTech industries managing global clinical trial projects and vendors. She emphasized how the Bionabu platform helps HealthTech, MedTech, and BioTech businesses to gain assistance and partners they need at every stage of their journey, from bright ideas to partnerships and M&A. She also went over the advantages of using Bionabu in great detail. "We are one of the first to develop innovative open crowd-teaming solutions focused on innovation and healthcare," Inna stated.
Rehan Huda, a board member of My Next Health Inc., enlightened the session by speaking on the topic of 'My Next Health's genomics approach'. He is also the CEO of Green Sky Labs, a technological incubator, and has organized many public offerings in Canada and the United States as an investment banking advisor, founder, and board member. Rehan has also worked as a senior economist for the Canadian government. During the session, he stated, "With our unique insights, we've uncovered roughly 200 distinct interactions between genes and the environment." He also added, "We believe it will help decide human health in many cases and be the fundamental cause of most inflammatory-related diseases."

Jim West, who represented Clara Biotech, a platform purification technology that enables next-generation biotechnology, was also a part of the discussion. He previously worked as a consultant, who assisted in the development of medical devices from prototype to production. He has also worked as a major engineer on a laser therapy device and is the CEO and Founder of Clara Biotech. Jim discussed how Clara Biotech is helping to grow this business by developing game-changing exosome isolation technology. "So, the way our product works as a solution listener is through a selective high-quality isolation platform that's able to isolate exosomes exclusively and will enable companies to get their products to market because they're going to be able to manufacture a pure high-quality product for diagnostic purposes," said Jim.
Samit Biswas, the CEO, and Founder of Hippo Mobility Transportation Services Ltd was one of the panelists who contributed to the discussion. "I suppose most of us keep hearing about a blind person being dropped off in the wrong spot by a taxi-hailing app or being denied transportation because of the size of their wheelchair," Samit added while shedding light on the significance of care safe mobility and how it helps to bridge the gap between ambulance and taxi services by providing disabled people, the elderly, and non-emergency and cancer patients with technology-driven, dedicated, hygienic, and cost-effective transportation.
Georgi Natchev, the fifth speaker, spoke on the ways of recovering from digital burnout. He is the founder and CEO of the Dilgiburn app, as well as a successful businessman. He emphasized the importance of the Diligiburn app during the session, which is a patient-centered and holistic approach to burnout therapy. During the session, he stated, "Working on the world's first personalized digital version of therapy over the last few years makes us special, and what sets the therapy apart is the fact that it's patient-centric."
The session then included Dr. Keith Tsui, a medical doctor, digital health business person, and co-founder and CEO of Medwise.ai, as the next speaker. He underlined the importance of empowering every medical provider to perform their best work and provide improved patient care, which was a hot topic at the time. "Almost 70% of doctors Google at least once a day for professional purposes," he noted, "and some of the questions are currently abandoned without the right information." He also mentioned how Medwise.ai contributes to the solution of this problem by providing a customizable social platform for healthcare professionals to access information while in clinics and hospitals.
Roseanna Jaggard was also a part of this important discussion, underlining the importance of improving clinical communications to improve patient care. She is an accomplished Managing Director with experience in Real Estate, Human Resources, and, most recently, IT solutions delivery. She is also the founder and CEO of RMJ Clinical, a firm dedicated to improving healthcare efficiency through technology. During the session, she explained how DocComs is a secure medical communications platform with specific clinical capabilities to improve patient care. "That means we're going to empower our workers on medical boards to be able to use tools that they always carry on, relevant to speed up and improve quality," Roseanna mentioned.
Moshe Lebowitz contributed to the session by bringing up the theme of recovery rehabilitation and was able to make the participants thrilled. He is the Founder and CEO of Healables. Moshe went on to say that recovery therapy includes treating the mind as well as the body. "Healables do this by relieving pain, speeding up healing, and lowering inflammation without the use of drugs," Moshe explained. Moreover, he also explained how it is done by treating clothing rather than using drugs.
As the final speaker, Les Lindsay, President of EMEA - KIFFIK Biomedical Europe Limited, spoke. He elaborated on the significance of interstitial fluid in diagnostics as well as the technology that surrounds it. Lindsay stated, "Our first product will be continuous glucose monitoring," referring to a KIFFIK Biomedical product designed expressly for this purpose.
