Pharma giant selects Smart O&M Digital Twin for its new

One of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies selected Siveco China to deploy a Digital Facility Management platform for its new industrial wastewater treatment plant, currently under construction in Jiangsu province. The project aims at ensuring that the plant's operation and maintenance (outsourced to a third party company) meets the strict regulatory standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry. The project was kicked off in January at the Siveco Shanghai office.

The digital platform is based on Siveco China's Smart Operation & Maintenance (Smart O&M) solution and incorporates 3D BIM, mobile inspection with AR smart glasses, and IoT interface through the plant SCADA system, into a true Digital Twin for O&M. The implementation follows Siveco China proven methodology for greenfield projects to ensure maintenance readiness before production starts. The Smart O&M Digital Twin will thus manage the entire lifecycle of the wastewater plant, ensuring full traceability of work done in compliance with regulations and standards, and establish a feedback loop between the service teams and the owner to better assist in decision-making, risk and cost controls. Siveco China has a vast experience providing Smart O&M solutions and related consulting to industrial plants and utilities, in China and in overseas markets, working either for the plant owner or under the EPC or DBO contractor.
