Press release from: Munich Innovation Group GmbH

Munich, Germany (March 15, 2013) – Munich Innovation announces the availability of a patent portfolio for a programmable device emulator.

The patented technology not only retains all advantages of the conventional bond-out chip based in-circuit emulator (ICE), but also reduces the transmission bandwidth of trace data significantly in order to meet the increasing demand for real-time acquisition and analysis of trace data.

„This portfolio adds great value to both MCU, FPGA, IP core vendors and embedded development tool providers for developing advanced emulation tools,“ says Wolfgang Maennel, Senior Partner at Munich Innovation „and serves as a critical element for IP risk mitigation.“

Munich Innovation will shortly be approaching potential buyers of the patent portfolio and will be available to discuss the intellectual property in more detail.
