Mox Telecom AG enhances existing Prepaid Calling Card Platform by next-generation technology.- Added VoIP applications strengthen Mox’ market position.
Ratingen, 27th July 2007 - Mox Telecom AG, a global international telephony provider, upgrades its existing prepaid calling card platform by integrating the Cirrus Enhanced Switching Platform from PhoenixSoft Inc. By migrating to enhanced VoIP technology Mox accommodates its new and expanding overseas markets and underpins their achieved strong position.
Mox is going to invest some million Euro in an upgrade of its network to next-generation technology and applications within the next two to three years. That will lay the technological foundation for being up to the mark with the ever growing market requirements worldwide. Furthermore, Mox can efficiently provide a wide range of enhanced and new VoIP and SIP applications for its calling card business. Some specific advantages of the integration of the PhoenixSoft feature set include flexible rating and tariffing, maximum security by location redundancy, streamlined account maintenance and conference calling. That will allow Mox to enter new markets (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong / China and Russia) with new and up to the mark services.
Making this investment, Mox will optimize the use of VoIP based suppliers and by this achieve better and more competitive product and service quality at higher margins at the same time. Because of this the board is expecting an increase of turnover of the US market in 2008 to 24 up to 26 million Euro by up to 5 million Euro. This will lead to an increase of the group’s revenue by up to 10%.
