Softing joins Ethernet Powerlink Standardization

Softing Industrial Automation is a new member of the Ethernet Powerlink Standardization Group (EPSG). With this move, the company consistently demonstrates its commitment to Industrial Ethernet. Users of POWERLINK benefit from the availability and a rapidly growing number of devices and components with multivendor Industrial Ethernet. "Our intention is to play an active role in the establishment of the POWERLINK standard", says Softing Market Segment Manager Thomas Hilz. On the EPSG Stand at the SPS IPC Drives in Hall 6/Stand 114 and 117, Softing will present a FPGA based POWERLINK solution.
