Media specialists from Bonn win at „Großer Preis des Mittelstands" (Grand Prix of medium-sized businesses)

BONN, GERMANY, 2012-09-11. The agency Meavision Media GmbH has continued its trail of success by winning at the "Großer Preis des Mittelstands" (Grand Prix of medium-sized businesses). Out of 3.500 medium-sized enterprises of all industry branches across Germany, the mavericks from Bonn muscled their way to the top and were honored with an award as finalists. This prize elevates Meavision Media to the top 8 medium-sized enterprises in one of Germany´s most economically powerful provinces, North-Rhine Westphalia.

Having won numerous national and international awards for their creative film and video potential, this award from one of Germany´s most important business competitions is a very special honor for Meavision Media. It acknowledges the collective achievements of the agency. The “Große Preis des Mittelstands“ is fundamentally different from other contests in its structure. Competitors cannot register to participate. Instead, they need the nomination to come from an independent party. Meavision Media had not one, but two advocates in place: The city of Bonn and the district Oberbergischer Kreis. Next, an independent jury evaluated each participant not just on business success, but also on their commitment to social responsibility. The entrants then had to convince the jurors that they met the necessary criteria in five relevant categories – the creative team from Meavision Media cleared this hurdle with flying colors. Along with 110 other semifinalists from North-Rhine Westphalia, they looked forward to the announcement of the winners at Saturday night´s grand gala in Düsseldorf.

The combination of past successes, know-how as well as social and ecological commitment has made Meavision Media one of the finalists of the 2012 “Große Preis des Mittelstand”. Dr. Elisabeth Decker, management board of the agency, was happy to accept the award on stage on behalf of the complete team: “We remain on track, and we are excited to receive such a meaningful award which recognizes our accomplishments as a business. Of course, we also owe this success to the support of our freelance employees as well as our satisfied customers.”

Every year, the German foundation „Oskar-Patzelt-Stiftung“ awards the well-respected business prize "Großer Preis des Mittelstands" to three winners and five finalists from every German province. The award honors the achievements and social commitments of medium-sized businesses.

Meavision Media GmbH is a modern 360° agency, providing the full dynamic spectrum of media services from concept development, storyboarding and film production to the creation of print templates and the provision of multimedia Internet services and specialist translation services.
