Medicare Supplement Insurance Industry Conference Reports Record Sponsorship

The growth of interest in Medicare insurance has resulted in record sponsorships for the 2021 industry conference organized by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

"We easily have twice as many sponsors for this conference compared to the last event held prior to Covid," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). "There are more companies focused on every dimension of generating consumer leads, selling and administering Medicare insurance solutions."

The Association will hold its 12th National Medicare Insurance Industry Summit September 8-10 at the Schaumburg Convention Center. The conference will be held live and is attended by industry leaders from across the country. In addition, the organization opens the conference for a free day consisting of sales-focused talks for insurance agents.

"A record 91 companies are sponsors of this year's conference," Slome notes. "They range from the leading Medigap insurers to pricing actuarial firms. This year the greatest growth has come from technology firms and lead-generation companies that provide Medicare insurance prospects to both insurers and distributors."

The National Medicare Insurance Summit brings together over 1,000 professionals for a program featuring leading industry experts. "A mainstay of the event is the networking opportunities," Slome adds. "People are Zoomed-out and despite the concerns about Covid are looking forward to gathering with each other to foster relationships that build their business for future years."
