The year 2015 is fast approaching and federal agencies are required to be in full compliance with Executive Order 13423. Instated in 2007, Executive Order 13423 – Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy and Transportation Management is all about sustainability for the future. By the year 2015, Federal Agencies are required to improve energy efficiency and utilize sustainable building design to reduce the current carbon footprint. With only three years left, federal agencies need to put plans into action.
