Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany – This year's SuperCup on Sunday, 12 August 2012, 8 p.m. will see the teams of FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund play against each other in the Munich Allianz Arena. "Record champion welcomes double winner! We are excited to officially sponsor this thrilling match of the SuperCup 2012 once again before starting into the new Bundesliga season", Julia Voigt, Marketing Manager of Onlineprinters GmbH, is pleased to comment on the sponsorship renewal.
This is already the third year for the online print shop http://www.onlineprinters.com to accompany the top-class sports event by presenting perimeter advertising and featuring the logo of the German online shop diedruckerei.de on the rear walls of the press box. An all-round communication package rounds off the sponsoring activities of Onlineprinters. "German top-class football has its fans all around the world. The SuperCup gains us the TV coverage we want to achieve with our German brand diedruckerei.de and the international brand Onlineprinters as one of Europe's top 5 online print shops", the Marketing Manager feels confident about the lasting success of the renewed official sponsorship. TV channel ZDF will broadcast the SuperCup 2012 live. In 2011, a total of 5.41 million viewers watched the match of then DFB-Pokal winner FC Schalke 04 and German football champion Borussia Dortmund.
Onlineprinters accompanies SuperCup 2012 in the Allianz Arena
In 2010, the German SuperCup had been held for the first time in 14 years and has since had a permanent slot in German sports broadcasting. The two best football teams of the past season compete with each other in the SuperCup: The German champion versus the winner of the DFB-Pokal. Borussia Dortmund took home both titles in the past season to compete against record champion FC Bayern München. The SuperCup will be broadcast live on Sunday, 12 August by TV channel ZDF including extensive coverage before and after the event. The match will be kicked off at 8 p.m.
