This year, the Supercup match takes place at the Gelsenkirchen Veltins Arena on Saturday, July 23, 2011. The opposing teams are DFB Cup winner FC Schalke 04 and German champion Borussia Dortmund. Kick-off is at 8:30 pm. Up to 61,000 fans may cheer for their favourite teams during the derby of the Ruhr district rivals.
