Adventists Embrace “Eucharistic Hospitality” on Their

Fatal heresies are attempting to undermine the foundations of our faith. A false and misguided unity is bringing all the churches together and they are exalting Romanism (the Holy Eucharist) and ecumenism above the word of God. There is an endeavor underway in the ecumenical movement to eliminate the practice of closed communion. The "Eucharistic Hospitality" is the fruit of 60 years of ecumenism. It is a modern ecumenical ceremony in which the Roman Catholic Church, which does not normally offer participation in Holy Mass to non-Catholics, makes a special exception during interfaith worship services. It is an invitation to allow the non-baptized to participate in the Catholic Holy Eucharist or the Protestant Holy Communion.

On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, several churches attended an interfaith conference on the theme of "Eucharistic Hospitality." Enrico Benedetto, pastor and theologian represented the Waldensian Church; Hanz Gutiérrez, theologian, physician, and a frequent contributor to Spectrum Magazine, represented the Seventh-day Adventist Church; Giovanni La Rosa, a priest from Randazzo, Sicily, represented the Anglican Church; Carmine Napolitano, president of the Federation of Pentecostal Churches represented the Pentecostal Church; and Silvano Nicoletto, a priest who runs a monastery in Sezano, Italy, represented the Roman Catholic Church.

Seventh-day Adventists in Italy have been participating in an effort to bring Eucharistic unity between Catholics and Protestants. "Eucharistic Hospitality" is a push for unity so that Catholics and Protestants can eat the same bread and drink the same wine as "one" at the Eucharistic table. This is theologically blasphemous. It completely disregards clear biblical teachings and undermines the long-standing practice of the Apostolic Church, the Protestant Reformation and Seventh-day Adventism. It makes baptism unnecessary, it degrades the role of discipleship and nullifies the prophetic warnings about the beast, the little horn and the antichrist.

Let Us Stop Avoiding the Real Issues
Let Us Stop Avoiding the Real Issues
As the 2025 General Conference Session convenes, with believers from around the world watching and praying, there is an unmistakable sense of frustration among many of the faithful. While we will be given lectures about returning our tithes and offerings-as outlined in the proposed 2025 Church Manual agenda-we must ask ourselves: is this truly the burning concern on the hearts of God's remnant people at this critical hour in history? The

While walking down the hallway at the America's Center Convention Complex-the site of the 62nd General Conference Session-I saw Ganoune Diop approaching. Knowing how busy church leaders are during these sessions, I asked if he had time to answer just one question. He stopped to look at me, and I asked him directly, "Why don't you preach the Three Angels' Messages? Why do you only preach Jesus?" As he began

As the day began, it was clear that the opening session would be marked by intense debate and contention. Everyone who attended the morning press conference orientation was informed that three agendas were going to be approved on this day: the Church Manual agenda, the Constitutional agenda, and the General agenda. The main issue centered on the General agenda, which allows for multiple items to be introduced. It was during

A large group of ecumenical clergy from all over Malaysia's Sarawak province gathered to pray, sing, and worship together. In the Christian Ecumenical Worship Center on July 21, 2022, believers from the Roman Catholic, Anglican, Seventh-day Adventist, Evangelical, Methodist, The Salvation Army, Baptist, and even some indigenous faiths gathered "shoulder to shoulder." The ecumenical celebration began with traditional music, shouting, and indigenous tribal dancing. These ancient rituals were similar to those

Government leaders are taking up the challenge of promoting the great ecological conversion taught by Pope Francis in his encyclical Laudato Si’. In Laudato Si’, Pope Francis calls for “decisive action, here and now” in order to avoid “catastrophes, desolation and dire consequences” (Laudato Si’ #161). Politicians are answering the call to focus on the great “harm we have inflicted” on “our sister, Mother Earth” (Laudato Si’ #1, 2). On February

In a recent article on the LifeSite News website entitled 'Italian bishop seems to approve Communion for some Catholics in adulterous unions', Bishop Gianmarco Busca of the diocese of Mantua was quoted as saying, “the faithful who are divorced and remarried, or who live stably in a second relationship, can embark on an ecclesial journey of reconciliation which, in some cases, can lead to the possibility of gaining access to
