Replacement filter elements made by Stauff for the shipbuilding industry, e.g. for filtering HFO/LO

Replacement filter elements made by Stauff for the shipbuilding industry, e.g. for filtering HFO/LO

In the shipping industry, low freight rates mean higher pressure on costs. Despite this, it is essential to ensure the reliability and safety of the machines and installations on board. The maintenance of engines, steering gear and loading systems, stabilisors, hatchways and slop gates is consequently vital work that must not be neglected. Walter Stauffenberg GmbH & Co. KG have been manufacturing high-quality replacement elements for filters at their plant in Werdohl in the Sauerland region of Germany for more than 20 years. These products are marketed at a fair price under the Stauff brand name.

These replacement elements are intended for filtering hydraulic oils, lubricants, cooling lubricants, fuel, chemical cleaning agents and, of course, water and fit into the housings of all the standard makes on the market.

The design of the plastic cartridge for filtering lubricants in the Boll & Kirch automatic filter series (housing 6.46) has recently been improved and optimised. The distribution network ensures that Stauff elements “made in Germany” are available worldwide.

Visitors to the SMM 2012 – the leading international trade fair for shipbuilding, machinery & marine technology – to be held in Hamburg from 4 to 7 September 2012, can find out further details at the Stauff stand, No. 211 in Hall A1.

Indestructible: Stauff and Voswinkel components in agriculture
Superior resistance to aggressive substances The use of components in agricultural machinery places high demands on the corrosion resistance of hydraulic line components, such as tube and hose connections and fasteners. They are not just exposed to usual weather and climate-related hazards, but frequently come into contact with particularly aggressive substances: with fertilizers containing phosphate or nitrogen, pesticides, cleaning concentrates, oils and other media. Stauff, one of the leading manufacturers of
