( EMAILWIRE.COM, June 22, 2007 ) Belrose, Australia -- A Brisbane-based company, known as the market leader in Global Brand Implementation Projects, has been recognised as one of Queensland’s smartest businesses.

Queensland Premier, Peter Beattie, announced that Signmanager Pty Ltd had been awarded as a finalist at the 2007 Premier of Queensland’s Smart Awards.

Mr Beattie said that the Smart Awards, now in its fifth year, continued to reward innovative Queensland-based businesses like Signmanager Pty Ltd that have helped make the Smart State’s philosophy a reality.

“Our Smart State vision has created a state where knowledge, creativity, and innovation have improved the prosperity and quality of life for all Queenslanders,” Mr Beattie said

The Queensland Premier’s “Smart State” Awards are an initiative of the Queensland State Government to recognise exceptional businesses throughout the state, and to showcase smart products, processes and services that create more jobs, market development, and sales opportunities for Queenslanders.

SignManager’s award was for “outstanding achievement by an organisation in the services sector”. This category was one of the most competitive with 17 organisations short listed, and with only three selected as finalists. Up against Mincom, a global company, which has around 1200 employees, and which has also been around for 27 years, and the eventual winner, the Brisbane Airport Corporation, which has 130 businesses and nearly 8,000 staff, SignManager was certainly in elite company.

SignManager's formula for success is derived from ongoing support from clients and business partners with whom it has built strong relationships over the last seven years. It is the product and delivery performance of SignManager’s exceptional contractor network, and its unique and innovative signage management products, which are maintained via high quality and user friendly web based technology, that have contributed to its success.

SignManager has become a leading specialist in corporate brand rollout and strategic re-brand management.

SignManager continues to experience rapid growth in the Australian, New Zealand, and US markets, and is focused on a future, which embraces the international market.

Kris Vogt, CEO, says the company expects to put on additoinal staff as its product achieves new sales in New Zealand and North Brisbane, Australia -- America. "Signmanager has been able to work successfully with large corporations to deliver their signage and merchandising roll-outs, and to maintain these extensive networks through a special web-based management system that provides the latest project information to signage contractors," he says.

"Through our online software we are able to work with over 200 signage contractors, and to execute significant roll-outs on a global level. For many of our clients, brand image is a major asset, which is promoted through signage work. SignManager helps to provide these corporations with peace of min, knowing that the brand image is protected at all times."
