GR8 AL Music has signed new Album of Luke Mornay (Grammy nominated Remixer)

GR8 AL Music just released Luke Mornays new Album TWENTY FIVE TEN. Luke was nominated for a Grammy in the category "best remixer", in collaboration with Kylie Minogue.

The Album features successful collaborations with awared superstar Kevin Godley (10cc, Godley & Creme), Topmodel Roxy Horner, Nick Tart (Diamond Head), Rachael & James Atkin (EMF), Lucy Pullin (The Isle of Man, Robbie Williams), Melanie Taylor, Flora, Fat Hats, AL-Faris & Superfinger.

Luke penned and produced his artist album TWENTY FIVE TEN. The great A-League TWENTY FIVE TEN artist album features successful 18 track title. Over the past two decades, Luke Mornay has shaped his musically driven signature sound around artists from a wide range of genres. This unpredictability not only brought him into unexpected scenes but also brought rave reviews for his work by press and fans of the artists, as well as a Grammy Award nomination and a couple of #1 records. From The Killers to Kylie or from the soulful Amy Winehouse to more obscure projects for composer extraordinaire Craig Armstrong, his interest has always been the challenge to develop new skills on each project, rather than having one sound for everything coming his way..

Luke’s Twenty Five Ten album (named as a homage to his mother’s birthdate) sees another turn in his career. His musical DNA is what’s radiating throughout his album.

Luke’s album inspired by decades of influences and experiences. “...I spent years meeting people’s expectations, time felt right for me to meet my own. Going independent to produce my debut album has already fulfilled some of my dreams, I could go back to the roots of what got me into music and mix my various influences such as Supertramp, Earth Wind and Fire, Ray Parker Jr, Depeche Mode, 10cc, Chic, and the 80s in general. I’m a pop and funk lover. I see my album as a new born child, it’s the starting point, It feels like parenting, hoping the best for your kids and guide them throughout life events. It won’t please all and what’s great is that that’s not the point.”

When it came to featurings on this album it was a natural choice to me to connect with artists such as Kevin Godley from the legendary band 10cc or James Atkin from EMF, as well as friends made over time such as Lucy Pullin (Craig Armstrong, Robbie Williams, Goldfrapp), Rachael Atkin (Fluke, Beauty School Drop Outs),Nick Tart (Diamond Head), Roxy Horner. I’m really proud of them and grateful for their generous inputs and help to support my project. There will be even more talents additions and surprises for an upcoming version of my album in its deluxe form...”

LUKE MORNAY also known as Luke Mourinet ( Ruff & Jam, Fortun8 Fellaz (Southern Fried), Street Angels, has been turning heads with his remix skills since 1991. Starting out as a weekend club DJ in Paris, he soon relocated to London to serve as a French market talent scout, songwriter and recording enginer for Pete Waterman Entertainment. Following his London stint, Mourinet briefly returned to France and produced remixes for numerous French Artists. Shortly thereafter Mourinet relocated to Belgium and paired up with Jean Marie Moens and the remix duo of Ruff & Jam (with Mourinet as Jam) was born. The collaboration paid quick dividends when the pair produced Kylie Minogue’s “Love at First Sight US MIX” a Billboard #1 hit with a prestigious Grammy nod. This opened the door to a series of collaborations with A‐list artists like Craig Armstrong, Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, Frou Frou, The Killers, Marianne Faithful, Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Axelle Red to name but a few. Shortly after these efforts, Mourinet started a Chicago house‐influenced project under name Fortun8 Fellaz, with releases quickly scooped up by Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records. Meanwhile, he started his own label, Mornay Music, and earned a gold record for co-production work on Belgium’s Idols “More to me,” which remained at #1 for five weeks.

The Album features stylistically Dance, Pop, Rock, House, Funk, Disco, Electro..... a great mixture of quality music.
