Austrian company develops the world's first fully autonomous antigen self-test method, which is combined with an access app
The Austrian company HGH Desinfections- und Cosmetique GmbH, based in Klagenfurt, has been working on this project since March 2020, which is about to be completed. To date, there has only been the option of going to the hairdresser or other necessary service providers to be tested in a testing center or at a pharmacy using a nasal swab.Dozens of contamination points arise on the way to the testing location alone. The autonomous app is downloaded through a QR code recognition, which is printed on an easy-to-use antigen saliva test.
A specially developed facial recognition software compares the test person’s identity card with the face and also monitors during the entire test process that there can be no manipulation. After the 2-min. Test, the software also automatically recognizes the positive or negative result, which is then imported into a 72-hour countdown-based entry-control, displayed on the mobile phone.
The data is connected to the respective federal ministry and enables Covid control for the first time through an autonomous process.
The antigen test itself recognizes not only the sars Cov 2 virus but also the mutation in 2 columns with a sensitivity of 97%.
Because of its simplicity, the antigen test can be used by anyone.
The carinthian company with branches in Germany, London and Monaco is convinced that it has found the missing link in the Covid 19 security concept that is sought after worldwide for a controllable reopening. The test kits should cost less than € 6
Mr. Gustav Wenger, one of the company's shareholders, explains that they’re already accepting orders and will go on sale the 1st week of March 2021.
The production capacity of the tester is currently limited to 6 million pieces per week but should be expanded weekly.
The HGH Group also offers the prerequisites to implement such a project internationally with an office and storage space of 3500m².
“We offer this world novelty internationally and hope to be able to take a big step in the fight against Covid 19”. (Gustav Wenger)
